Write for us

Trusted Home Journal welcomes pitches that help readers understand the choices, materials and routines that shape a home. We look for clear thinking, a distinct angle and useful context rather than a list of generic tips.

What to pitch

Propose an evergreen article about a specific aspect of home life: for example, how a room detail affects its use, what distinguishes two furnishing options, or how a household habit took shape. We welcome explanatory, comparative, historical and occasion-based approaches, provided the idea is distinct from existing coverage and readers can follow it without specialist knowledge.

A strong proposal

Tell us the working title, central question, main points and why the subject will interest our readers. Name the category it fits and note any sources or expertise the piece would rely on. Keep the scope focused: one article should have one clear idea, not a collection of loosely connected suggestions. Do not send a full draft unless requested.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include your name, a way to reply and enough detail for us to understand the idea. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please wait for a response before preparing a full article.

What guides us

A home is made in the details

We look beyond quick fixes to explain the choices behind rooms, materials and household habits, so readers can decide what suits their own space.
